The Fixer Upper, an ‘astonishingly relevant’ romantic comedy debut from Lauren Forsythe, has been acquired by Piatkus in the UK and Commonwealth, and Putnam in the US.
Lauren Forsythe – a powerhouse writer who enjoys focussing her fiction on ‘strong women, men with pretty eyelashes and friends that save your life’ is sure to grab readers attention with this canny debut.
The book, which will publish in the summer of 2022, went to assistant editor Sarah Murphy of Piatkus and Kate Dresser at Putnam, courtesy of Hayley Steed, who was ‘immediately hooked’ by the ‘wickedly smart and funny’ rom-com when it was first introduced to her by the author.
