C.J. Tudor’s The Burning Girls TV Series Out Now on Paramount+ and Roku

The Burning Girls, based on the best-selling novel by C.J. Tudor, premiered on Paramount+ on 19 October, 2023. Samantha Morton and Ruby Stokes star in the six-episode series described by The Guardian as “everything you could possibly want from a pre-Halloween frightfest.”
Set in Chapel Croft, a community full of superstitions, Reverend Jack Brooks and her teenage daughter, Flo, move in to make a fresh start. However, they find their new home is rife with conspiracies and dark secrets. They soon find that uncovering the truth can be deadly in a village where everyone has something to protect, everyone has links with the village’s bloody past, and no one trusts an outsider.
“This is a drama full of good, nasty things — sinister glances, stick dolls hanging ominously around every corner, hints of an exorcism in Jack’s recent past…” reports The Times. “A tense and sinister folk horror.”
Watch the trailer to get a sneak peek for yourself, and head to Paramount+ to stream full episodes of The Burning Girls in the UK, Europe, Canada, Latin America and Asia-Pacific zones. Watch the series on Roku in the US.
