The novel follows university student Iris Hall who ferries corpses alone at night on the London Necropolis Railway to the Great Necromantic Houses hidden within the city. After nearly being attacked by a rising corpse one night, Iris needs the help of her frustrating yet beautiful ex, Arthur Hart who ghost her a year ago. Hart has his own wealth of secrets to hide as they both uncover the secrets of the underground. With their fate bound to death, can Iris save her future or will her body one day be ferried to necromancers too?

Tori Bovalino is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and now lives in the the UK with her partner and their very loud cat. She holds a PhD in English and is the author of multiple YA horror novels, including My Throat an Open Grave, and the editor of the Indie-bestselling anthology, The Gathering Dark.
