We’re thrilled that Nuala Ellwood’s new book The Perfect Life (Penguin Random House / Viking) is out today. Once you pick it up, you won’t be able to put it back down!

Ellwood is the author of two bestselling novels: My Sister’s Bones, for which she was selected as one of the Observer’s ‘New Faces of Fiction 2017’, and Day of the Accident.

Nuala has written an article for National Geographic Travellerall about her relationship with the wilds of the Yorkshire Dales, and the serenity she has found in the natural world, in the midst of battling chronic insomnia.

She also contributed to a multi-author Dead Good round up of the best books to read this summer and shared her own recommendation.

Nuala is off on a blog tour starting on 28th July and is very excited to talk to you all about her wonderful novel.

‘Brilliantly compulsive and with one hell of a twist! I was consumed until the final heartbreaking page’ – Claire Douglas

‘Absolutely brilliant – exciting, clever, it deserves to be a bestseller’ – Priscilla Masters

We can’t wait to introduce you to The Perfect Life…

Have you ever wanted to be someone else?

Vanessa has always found it easy to pretend to be somebody different, somebody better. When things get tough in her real life, all she has to do is throw on some nicer clothes, adopt a new accent and she can escape.

That’s how it started: looking round houses she couldn’t possibly afford. Harmless fun really. Until it wasn’t.

Because a man who lived in one of those houses is dead.

And everyone thinks Vanessa killed him…

Congratulations Nuala! If you haven’t got your copy yet you can order one here.
