The Taking of Annie Thorne, from the international bestselling author C.J. Tudor was published in the UK this week by Penguin / Michael Joseph.
On it’s publication day yesterday, it received an outstanding review from The Daily Mail: “This second novel from the author of last year’s wildly successful The Chalk Man confirms Tudor as Britain’s female Stephen King… Tudor’s punk prose style and her great eye for menace make this a book no one should read at night.”

Day of the Accident by Nuala Ellwood was published this week in paperback by Viking. The novel was published early in ebook last month, and quickly rose to the top ten in the Amazon Kindle charts, where it is currently sitting at No. 7.
How Do You Like Me Now? bestselling YA and adult author, Holly Bourne appeared in The Bookseller as the Book of the Month in the May Paperback Preview. They said: “Funny, astute, bitingly honest, it’s a genuine triumph, and has, accordingly received great reviews.”
Following the news of it’s outstanding one million copies sold across all formats in the US, Gail Honeyman’s Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine is currently sitting at No. 3 in the New York Times Fiction list, No. 9 in audio, and No. 7 in the Combined list.
Poonam Mistry has been longlisted for the prestigious CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal at the CILIP Carnegie & Kate Greenaway Medal Children’s Book Awards for her first children’s book, You’re Safe With Me. The awards celebrate the best in children’s writing and illustration respectively. Poonam illustrated the Agency’s first picture book, You’re Snug With Me.
