C.L. Taylor’s insomnia-inducing psychological thriller, Sleep, is at No. 4 in the Sunday Times hardback bestseller list this week, less than two weeks after publication. Last week, the novel was sitting at No. 9. This week, 2,126 copies were sold in hardback, bringing the total to 3,762 since publication, and 4,685 have been sold overall in eBook.
Gail Honeyman’s Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine has sold an incredible 4,946 copies in paperback this week, rounding the total figure to 972,709 – the million copies landmark is looming!
Melanie Golding, whose terrifying psychological thriller, Little Darlings, is published on 2nd May, wrote an article for Stylist Magazine about childbirth this week.
The creepy trailer for Mel Sherratt’s Tick Tock has been released – and we absolutely love it.
On the foreign rights front, Korean rights to Stephanie Wrobel’s The Recovery of Rose Gold have gone to Rok Media.
Czech rights to Kereen Getten’s The Last Girl on Sycamore Hill went to Euromedia
Estonian rights to Leah Hazard’s Hard Pushed sold to Pegasus.
Italian rights to Holly Bourne’s The Places I’ve Cried in Public have gone to Dea Planeta.
Dar Altanweer bought Arabic rights to Elizabeth Kay’s Seven Lies. As reported by The Bookseller this week, this title has now sold into 23 territories in two months.
