Congratulations to Holly Martin whose love story, The Guestbook, is at * No.5 * on the Kindle bestseller list. Within the space of a day, The Guestbook (published by Carina UK) climbed the charts from No.32 to the Top 10.
The Guestbook won Harlequin UK’s digital 1st imprint Carina UK’s Valentine’s Day 2014 award. It was published on 14th February and is now the No.5 bestseller on the overall charts and No.1 in romantic comedy. Holly shared her reaction to the news: ‘I’ve been overwhelmed with the support it has received…people really have taken it into their hearts’.
Madeleine Milburn said ‘It’s wonderful to see this phenomenal success so early on. Holly is also the author of the self-published fantasy adventure YA series, The Sentinel, which was published at the end of last year, hitting three different bestseller lists within 24 hours.’
Holly Martin has been writing for four years. Her second novel Changing Casanova and her third novel The Chainsaw Masquerade were both shortlisted for the New Talent Award at the Festival of Romance. In June last year she won the Belinda Jones Travel Club short story competition and her story One Hundred Proposals was published in the Sunlounger anthology alongside her favourite authors.
