Rights to acclaimed historian Hayley Nolan’s expose, Anne Boleyn: 500 Years of Lieshave been snapped up by Amazon Publishing.

The novel is the latest addition to Amazon’s ever-expanding non-fiction list, Little A.

Heralded as a “Tudor whistleblower”, Hayley Nolan’s latest novel about the infamous wife of Henry VIII is no different: “After three years of extensive historical research, I have uncovered a shocking censorship surrounding Anne Boleyn – and if there was ever a time for the suppression of a powerful woman’s story to be brought to light, that time is now. This is not a ‘new take’ or a ‘reinvention’. It is a long-overdue, correctional biography”, Hayley said.

The explosive new analysis of Anne Boleyn’s life re-examines the key theories presented over the last 500 years. It is the first realistic portrayal of Anne Boleyn during that time, and will deeply resonate with modern readers.

Anna Hogarty negotiated the deal, and said: “As soon as Hayley’s manuscript landed on my desk, I was hooked. It’s feisty, fiery, passionate and empowered. History has never been told quite in this way before!”

Director of Amazon Publishing EU, Dominic Myers, added: “With Little A, Amazon Publishing’s mission is to publish intelligent, provocative stories with a strong narrative voice. Hayley has done just that with this fascinating biography and we are delighted to have her as one of our first non-fiction authors.”

Anne Boleyn: 500 Years of Lies will be published by Little A in September 2019.
