An exciting update for Debbie Johnson fans – the TV adaptation of Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater will premier on the Hallmark Channel in the US on the 7th November!

Sure to be a festive delight, this made-for-TV film is a romantic comedy which is being produced by Two 4 The Money Media and Everywhere Studios, who acquired the film and TV rights from Hayley Steed. As with the book of the same name, the plot follows single mother Maggie, who for the first time is facing a lonely Christmas without her family. That is, until she meets handsome visiting stranger Lucas who needs a place to stay for the holidays.

The confirmed cast includes Ashley Williams starring as Maggie, opposite Niall Matter, and the film is being directed by Allan Harmon.

Two 4 The Money Media is a Canadian production company founded in 2010 by Kim Arnott. One of its most recent releases was Holiday Hearts, also directed by Allan Harmon for the Hallmark Channel. Its previous productions include Christmas at Dollywood, A Brush with Love, Matchmaker Mysteries – A Fatal Romance, and A Bramble House Christmas. My Best Friend’s Bouquet, directed by Jessica Harmon, will be the company’s next release; it is currently in post-production and will premiering in October as part of the Hallmark Channel’s Fall line-up.

Everywhere Studios is an American production company founded in 2014 by David Calvert-Jones and Tom Mazza. They produce both fictional and non-fictional content; their previous credits include Date My Dad, The Disappearance of Susan Cox Powell, Same Time, Next Christmas, Who Killed Jon Benet? and The Radius of Us.
