- Film rights for The Boy at the Keyhole by Stephen Giles have been optioned by New Regency, the production company behind numerous Oscar winners including 12 Years a Slave and Fight Club.
- Leah Hazard‘s memoir Hard Pushed: Notes of a Midwife has been acquired by Hutchinson (Penguin Random House) in a six-figure deal following a seven-way auction.
- UK & Commonwealth rights to Namina Forna’s epic YA fantasy trilogy Deathless were acquired by Usborne, following a hotly-contested 3-way auction.

Here at the MMLA offices, we were also lucky enough to receive some of Elizabeth’s gorgeous mugs (pictured). She runs a one-woman ceramics business which you can learn more about on her website.
