Logan-Ashley Kisner, whose YA debut novel Old Wounds published recently in September 2024, has landed a North American deal with Delacorte for his next two books, Trans Panic and Docile Creatures. The rights were sold to editor Krista Marino in an exclusive submission by Children’s & YA Director, Chloe Seager.
Trans Panic which is set to publish in Autumn 2026 is a slasher horror in which a young trans teen finds herself stuck in a summer camp for queer youth that has been infiltrated by a serial killer.
Publishing in Autumn 2027, Docile Creatures is a murder mystery thriller set in 1950s America, featuring two trans teens who get caught up in a deadly mystery after swapping identities.
Logan-Ashley Kisner is based in Las Vegas, Nevada and spends his free time as an amateur historian on the history of trans characters in the horror genre.
