Congratulations to our children’s author, Dave Lowe, who gave an exceptional talk at the The Telegraph Bath Festival of Children’s Literature on Sunday 30th September.  In Bath central library, Dave wowed an audience of kids (and their parents) with his hilarious presentation and interactive reading from his début novel, MY HAMSTER IS A GENIUS.

Dave travelled all the way from Australia to introduce nine year old Benjamin Jinks and his grumpy hamster, Jasper Stinkbottom.  Together they are an unstoppable team!

He had all the children in fits of giggles as he challenged them with questions to see whether they were as clever as his hamster, giving the winner their very own pet, Stinky.

Dave will be appearing at The Times Cheltenham Book Festival this sunday 7th October, and at schools around the UK.

Templar published MY HAMSTER IS A GENIUS in September and are bringing out the second in the series, MY HAMSTER IS AN ASTRONAUT, next March 2013.  Dave’s books are for 6 – 9 year olds and are illustrated by Mark Chambers.  They have both sold on an international level.  Follow Stinky’s hilarious blog for more fun, or keep your kids happy by purchasing a copy here.
