We are so thrilled that Katherine May’s Wintering (Überwintern) has spent its fourth week on the Spiegel Paperback Non-Fiction Bestseller list in Germany.
Shurkamp Verlag published the paperback version on 10 October 2022 after the initial hardback release last year. Katherine has seen wild success with German readers. Since its release, Überwintern has sold over 27,000 copies and was also released as an audiobook in November 2021.
Katherine is a writer of both fiction and non-fiction. Her most recent works include The Electricity of Every Living Thing and The Whitstable High Tide Swimming Club. She lives by the sea in Whitstable and enjoys sea swimming and long walks. She lives and breathes everything the natural world has to offer and is compelled by how the wild and extreme landscapes can benefit our mental and emotional wellbeing. Her latest book, Enchantment will be published next year.
