To celebrate the launch, Nita kicked off an exciting book tour this April, with a series of sold-out events across the US and Canada. The tour began with an exciting High Tea Experience hosted by Wordfest on April 8th in Calgary’s historic Deane House. Attendants indulged in an array of scones, savoury sandwiches and enjoyed an insightful and intimate conversation between Nita and the journalist Leah Sarich.
The tour proceeded to Scottsdale, Arizona, where the authors took part in a discussion with Barbara Peters at the Poisoned Pen bookstore. In April, Nita also made appearances at the San Antonio Book Festival and the County Library Authors Festival. In May, she participated in the Ottawa Writers Festival and the Montreal Mystery Fest.
Along with her participation in literary festivals in the US and Canada, Nita’s tour was full of bookshop visits and signings across North America, with author talks in Minneapolis, Toronto, Kitchener (ON), Cambridge (ON), and Raleigh (NC), among others. Nita also appeared in conversation with authors such as Lisa Genova, Hank Philippi Ryan (A Mighty Blaze, Online), and Kristen Bird (Murder by the Bookstore, Houston, TX).
