We celebrated Christmas in style last night with some of our brilliant authors.
Huge thanks to Madeleine and Giles, and to everyone who came!
Here are the penultimate highlights of the year…
C.J. Tudor’s second thriller, The Taking of Annie Thorne, has received a brilliant review from Publisher’s Weekly. They said: “Joe’s dark humor may balance the grim plot, but the epilogue is the stuff of nightmares. Tudor casts a searing light on the long-term damage wrought by grief, guilt, and regret.” See the full review here. The novel will be published by Penguin Random House/Michael Joseph next month.
Samuel Pollen’s debut novel, casting light on teenage male anorexia, The Year I Didn’t Eat will be published next year by ZunTold. The debut will be the first novel in ZunTold’s new Fiction as Therapy division, and publication will coincide with the charity Beats Eating Disorders Week.
The winner of the Bluepencil First Novel Award, Jules Lampshire, has signed with the agency with her brilliant novel, My Poor Deluded Girl.
