Just look at this stunning cover for Rona Halsall’s new psychological thriller, The Ex-Boyfriend. The novel is released by Bookouture on 30th September.
Grazia featured Ashley Audrain’s The Push (Penguin Random House / Michael Joseph) and Katherine Faulkner’s Greenwich Park (Bloomsbury / Raven Books) in an article called “When Mums Go Bad” this week.

Both Helly Acton’s debut novel, The Shelf (Bonnier Zaffre), and Kathryn Foxfield’s Good Girls Die First (Scholastic) have been included in a round up by the i this week.
They said of The Shelf: “Acton’s debut turns an acerbic eye on Love Island-style shenanigans with a fresh, feminist tale of a reality show gone wrong.”
And of Good Girls Die First: “Foxfield’s fantastically creepy debut nods to Agatha Christie as ten teens find themselves stranded with a murderer in their midst.”
We are so thrilled that Caroline Mitchell’s The Secret Child (Amazon Publishing / Thomas & Mercer) has been chosen as a Finalist for the Killer Nashville Silver Falchion Awards.
FCGB did a brilliant Q&A with Anna Fargher this week, whose beautiful middle grade novel, Umbrella Mouse to the Rescue, was published last week by Macmillan Children’s Books.
This week, Madeleine Milburn and Kimberley Young from HarperFiction hosted a very exciting Publishing Masterclass! From identifying the best agent to sharpening up a submission, they talked new writers through the publishing journey from first draft to first book deal.
