We couldn’t be more excited to see Maybe One Day by Debbie Johnson published in the US today by William Morrow / HarperCollins.

This gorgeous tear-jerker of a novel asks the question; what if you had the chance to find a lost love? and has been described as ‘moving, beautiful and heart-wrenching’ by Cathy Bramley. Catherine Isaac is in agreement, saying the book delivers ‘humour, tears and above all, hope’ advising readers to ‘bring tissues’.

The story follows Jess, who still thinks about the man who disappeared from her life seventeen years ago, and the tragedy that tore them apart. When she discovers a hidden box of letters in her mother’s attic, Jess realises that the truth about why he walked away has been kept from her all this time and sets out to follow the faded postmarks across the country, determined that her journey will bring her closer to him. Maybe one day, they will be together again…

Published to huge success in the UK by Orion last summer, we can’t wait for readers across the pond to discover Jess’ story. And Debbie’s next book, The Moment I Met You, isn’t far away either, and is another ultimate in ‘happy tears’.
