The cosy fantasy debut Stay for A Spell trilogy by Amy Coombe will be hitting the shelves in the UK with rights attained by HarperVoyager.
The first book of the series follows Princess Tanadelle of the Widdenmar whose wishes comes true when she finds herself cursed to remain in a run-down bookstore in the cosy town of Little Pepperidge, until she finds her heart’s desire. With her royal duties unfulfilled, the frantic King and Queen send the seven princes of the realms to bestow upon Tandy a kiss, each one hoping to break the curse. They arrive, each more ridiculous than the last, delighted to be the manifestation of her heart’s desire.
Publishing editor Rachel Winterbottom who bought the UK and Commonwealth rights shared that “readers are going to have their hearts stolen by the dashing, pesky pirate Bash and this gorgeous, heart-warming hug of a novel.” Literary agent Maddy Belton added saying “A perfect delight, and total joy, this book is the most incredible cosy treat.
