Two of these novels are the next in the bestselling DI Amy Winter series, and will feature the troubled protagonist with a dark past, and the third is a standalone psychological thriller.
And it seems it won’t be long before Amy hits the big screen, too. It was announced at the Capital Crime Festival in September that Truth and Lies, the first in the DI Amy Winter Series, has been optioned for TV by Awesome Media. Awesome Media specialise in high-end screen adaptations, and are currently adapting Susan Hill’s The Small Hand for Channel 5, which will star Douglas Henshall.
Caroline is the author of 11 crime thrillers to date. Her novel, Silent Victim was a No. 1 digital bestseller in the UK, US and Australia, selling 30,000 copies in a month. Caroline’s most recent novel, The Secret Child sold 16,000 copies in just over three weeks, and over 62,000 copies overall. It was published in March this year.
