To all unpublished writers!
The brilliant Caledonia Novel Award is now accepting entries for its 2018 competition. Based in Scotland, but with an international outlook, the award is open to all unpublished or self-published works from around the world, and has an excellent reputation for discovering writers who go on to sign deals with major publishing houses. With previous winning and shortlisted work including historical fiction, crime, family sagas and dystopian futures, all genres are welcomed.
The judge for the shortlist this year is our very own Madeleine Milburn, who is incredibly excited to be involved with something that always attracts an eclectic mix of new talent. Read her Q&A with the award organisers here.
Entries must be submitted by 1st November 2017 and the winner is announced on 25th January 2018. All guidelines for the competition can be found on the Caledonia Novel Award website.
Good luck!
