The novel is published on 23rd January 2020 and was already ranking in the Top 20 in the Amazon bestseller lists in the Horror and Suspense category yesterday, alongside both of C.J.’s previous novels, The Chalk Man and The Taking of Annie Thorne.
The Taking of Annie Thorne is currently ranking at No. 1 across three Kindle categories: the Classic Horror category, the Horror Fiction Classics category and the Horror Thrillers – an huge achievement.
Earlier this year, C.J. Tudor attended the Krimfestivalen in Oslo, Norway, and was awarded The Golden Bullet Award for her debut novel, The Chalk Man. The Golden Bullet Award highlights translated crime fiction published during the past year and The Chalk Man was one of six titles shortlisted for the prize.
C.J. Tudor was one of six shortlisted in the Crime & Thriller category at the National Book Awards 2018 for The Chalk Man, alongside Ian Rankin, Robert Galbraith, Belinda Bauer, Erin Kelly and Val McDermid and to date, The Chalk Man has been shortlisted for the Crime Writers’ Association Steel Dagger Award and has sold into 40 foreign territories.
