Published in the UK on 6th February 2020 (HarperCollins / HarperFiction), and out in the US on 7th April 2020 (Penguin Random House / Putnam), Saving Missy has now sold over 10,000 hardbacks in the UK as of May 2020. This tender and uplifting debut went straight into the Top 10 Hardback Fiction list at No. 9 after only 2.5 days of sale, and shot up to No. 6 within weeks.
Saving Missy has received brilliant endorsements from the press. Beth was interviewed on BBC Radio 2’s Good Morning Sunday Program, which saw the novel place in the Top 50 on Amazon, and Saving Missy was chosen as one of the BBC’s Books to Read in 2020. This heartwarming tale was featured in a collection of roundups too, with Bustle calling it one of ‘The 18 Most Anticipated Books of April 2020‘, Press Association naming it one of the ‘Ten Uplifting Books to Read During Isolation’. In addition to press attention, the Saving Missy audiobook, narrated by stage and screen Olivier Award-winning Dame Harriet Walter, won the Bronze Award in the New York Radio Awards for Best Solo Narration.
