Rebecca Netley’s The Whistling Set for Stage Premiere at the Mill at Sonning

An original adaptation of Rebecca Netley’s haunting novel, The Whistling is set to premiere at the Mill at Sonning in September. From the writers who brought the bestsellers The Girl on the Train and The Da Vinci Code to stage, this chilling and spine-tingling ghost novel is sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

The writing duo Rachel Wagstaff and Duncan Abel have worked together on this Scottish-based story, and the Mill has assembled a brillant cast to bring this tale to life. Illusionist Guy Barrett is set to create magic and special effects on stage, with Rebecca Forsyth playing the ‘haunted’ nanny, and the role of Mary being shared between Sophie Bidgood, Ivy Evans and Saffron Haynes. The cast is completed by Raghad Chaar as Greer, Stephanie Farrell as Violet, Heather Jackson as Ailsa, Nadia Kramer as Hettie, Jonny McGarrity as Paterson, the doctor, and Robert and Susie Riddell as Bridge.
