We absolutely love it when readers are as taken with our authors’ books are we are, which is why we are unbelievably excited to share the brilliant news that our bestselling author Caroline Mitchell has reached the astounding milestone of one million copies sold (Amazon Publishing).
This a huge achievement comes as no surprise, as Caroline’s prolific thrillers (ranging from twisty crime series to gripping stand-alone psychological thrillers) have received numerous accolades over the years. Truth and Lies, the first instalment in the bestselling DI Amy Winter series, was a New York Times audio bestseller and has been optioned for TV. Before that, Witness was shortlisted for the International Thriller Awards in New York, and the standalone thriller Silent Victim sold 30,000 copies in one month, hitting the No.1 spot in the Amazon Charts in the UK, US and Australia. It was also the winner of the Reader’s Favourite Awards in the Psychological Thriller category.
The Village, Caroline’s latest page-turner, published earlier this year and sold over 12,000 copies in its first three weeks, hitting the No.6 spot in the Amazon charts. We cannot wait to see what’s next for Caroline as she continues to grip readers with thrillers that reviewers have hailed as ‘deliciously creepy’ and ‘twisted in the best possible way’.
Caroline Mitchell is from Ireland and now lives with her family in a village on the coast of Essex. Following her career in the police force, during which she worked for the CID and specialised in roles dealing with the most vulnerable, she turned her hand to writing, which she now does full-time. She is published by Thomas & Mercer.
Please join us in congratulating Caroline on this major accomplishment!
