Our very own Head of Rights, Valentina Paulmichl has been shortlisted for Rights Professional of the Year at the British Book Award 2025!
The Bookseller shares that “The Madeleine Milburn Literary Agency’s head of rights Valentina Paulmichl has substantially increased international deals since arriving three years ago. She closed around 300 deals for 50 authors in 2024, capitalising on the wave of interest in fantasy in particular. “She’s dedicated, inspired, caring, and always incredibly helpful and creative—I can’t praise her enough,” said one publisher.”
Valentina joined the MM Agency in 2021 from Bonnier Books UK where she worked as Rights Executive for non-fiction first, and then as a Senior Rights Executive for both fiction and non-fiction.
