We are over the moon to celebrate the announcement of the Carnegie Award nominations this week where not one but TWO of our incredible authors have been chosen.

Lex Croucher, who also celebrated the Books Are My Bag award for Young Adult Fiction this week, has been nominated for her highly entertaining, medieval queer romance Gwen And Art Are Not In Love, which tells the story of Gwen, Princess of England, and Arthur, future lord and general gadabout, who have been betrothed since birth. Unfortunately, the only thing they can agree on is that they hate each other.

Meanwhile Brianna Bourne is nominated for her tremendous yet highly emotional YA romance with a twist, The Half Life of Love, in which a friendship forms between a boy who ‘half-lifed’ so young he knows his death is not far away and a girl who is hell-bent on finding a cure for it.

Huge congratulations to you both!
