Jane has spent the last two decades working in the Employment and Adult Skills sectors in the UK, US and Australia. Moving from programme delivery to research enabled her to focus on the bit she loves – asking questions and trying to make sense of the answers.
This curiosity about people – the gaps between who we are, who we show to others and how others see us – was the spark to start writing fiction.
In Oct 2019, after taking the Curtis Brown Start to Write Your Novel six-week online course, she was inspired to join The Novelry’s Ninety day Novel course in 2020, and began writing her debut.
She lives with her family, and their dog, in the East of England.
